Working within the Design for Use team, the successful candidate will oversee the creation of web pages, templates, style sheets and Flash promotions, using cutting edge design, to enhance communication with customers and provide cutting edge design that provides an effective experience to both current and potential customers. The emphasis of the role will be on promotions on the portal from a visual point of view, working closely with the Promotions Specialist. They will play a key role in the development of guidelines for aesthetic, technical, accessibility and usability standards. The successful candidate for this role will have at least 4 years experience in a web design role, with experience of web design on a large corporate website and a portfolio of sites you’ve worked on previously is required. You will also have expert knowledge of user interface design principles, web design best practices and web standards. Ideally you will be expert in the latest versions of Dreamweaver, Illustrator and Photoshop; be proficient in Acrobat, Visio, Microsoft Word and Excel, Flash and have working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Content Management Systems.
