Working within the Design team, the successful candidate will oversee the creation of web pages, templates, style sheets and Flash components, using cutting edge design techniques and technolgoies, to enhance communication with customers and content contributers such as journalists. We want contemporary and cutting edge design that will prove attractive to potential customers. Duties: Managing the creation of web pages, templates, graphics, Flash promos and demos for the gaming site to agreed specifications and defined timescales. The production of ads. Contributing to information, interface and navigation design. The creation of front-end designs and Flash promotions. Being proactive in the development of the online brand identity. Ensuring that online communications are consistent with corporate identity / brand. Ensuring accuracy, clarity and consistency of style, presentation and usability across all online communications. The ability to incorporate advertising into the site in a aesthetically pleasing manner. The creation of attractive page design adhering to pre-defined information architecture. Experience: Minimum 2+ years experience in a web /graphic design role. A portfolio, or examples of sites you've worked on is absolutely required. Knowledge of UI design principles, aesthetics and ability to implement them. Technologies: Flash, photoshop, illustrator and other vector and raster image tools. Thorough knowledge of (X)HTML, css, javascript and ajax techniques. Experience working with other developers and using templating technologies is of advantage.
