I didn't vote last time, but I'm going to go vote this time, and I'm going to vote "no". Basically didn't get a chance to give my vote, busy busy at the time.

I don't think the Irish people should be forced to retake a vote because some people didn't like the first poll result. If more people turn out and vote no this time it would be hilarious and embarrassing for the EU or whoever.

I'll definitely make time to get my No vote in this time.

I don't have a problem with voting again, we're asked to vote for the same selection of muppets time after time and we still haven't got that one right... democracy in action
Voting Yes... 'cause yerup needs to be run more efficiently

No, it would show we're a bunch of muppets for turning our backs on the EU at the worst point economically in the history of this state. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

I'll be voting yes again, for all the reasons I voted yes first time out.

The Coir 'minimum wage' poster is crying out for a subtle replacement of the 'vote' with a colon, ellipses or en dash.

Actually hate politically discussions, don't know why I started really.

It's your vote, do what you want with it.

*edit didn't see all the posters posted here until I'd posted this.

This seems to be an argument put forward by a lot of people but I don't really think it washes. There were various issues brought to the fore-front by no campaigners first time 'round. These issues were clarified with the EU commission and now a revised (albeit only slightly) treaty is being put forward. Essentially they asked "What don't you like about it?" listened to reply, made changes & asked the people to vote again, don't see what's wrong with that, it's like negotiating a contract.

I'll be going with the yes vote myself, although I can understand how people are frustrated with a second vote so soon, I think it's too important to use as a stick to beat Cowan & Co. with.

I'll be voting yes again, but it's the same treaty. Nothing has changed at all since the last time except we have a few assurances on top of it.

A whole new set of bullshit has been brought up by the No side. The Yes campaign still haven't a clue either judging by what I've heard and seen so far.

So is this a "best out of three" democracy or what?

Nice one.

Frankly, if the vote comes back Yes this time I'll be wanting another referendum.

What are the chances of that though?

You're right, we're a joke. I cry myself to sleep at night thinking of all the rough European boys pointing at us and laughing…

So what?

The vote came in No first time. On the second time if it's Yes, then that will be 1-1.

They need a tie-breaker vote or some sort of fight to to the death to decide.

If it comes back 2 results for No, then they should leave it at that and get on with it.
