I once met a korean animator who worked on the Simpsons. She carried a sketchbook and blue pencil everywhere with her and did beautiful life drawings of people doing ordinary daily stuff. It would only take her a few seconds to capture a figure with just a few deft strokes of her pencil. Working on the Simpsons must have felt like working in McDonalds to her.
