Top : fashion : Page 3 Scarlet Clothing I`d worked for two years in a company in Brazil, as fashion desegner and now I want to mix my ideas of fashion and style whit a company that is interested in it. Sheelagh Evenden Since leaving the Grafton Academy in 1983 I have been working in the fashion industry. Initialy I gained some experience in Voyou, a small Irish owned children's clothing company. But, after three years I felt the time had come to move on and set up a business of my own. Skidoo was born in 1986 and almost immediately became a success. I began supplying to the children's departments of some of the biggest department stores in the country, Switzers and Brown Thomas to name but a few. After a very succesful and busy decade I closed the doors on Skidoo to change direction and focus on what has always been my passion, made to measure evening and bridal wear. turtlehead A collective based in dublin, but with an international crew we launch one new t-shirt a month. A % of the profit goes back to the artist and to a charity selected by visitors to the site. David Shrigley was the first artist in the monthly series followed by Chris Judge. Yanflav designs Young Cork-based designer specialising in funky knitwear garments and accessories and also made-to-measure womenswear.
